Aloha, Say the Pretty Girls
By Naomi Iizuka
Aloha, Say the Pretty Girls investigates our search for identity, meaning and home.
Naomi Iizuka’s non-linear, comedy explores the multitudes we individually contain - human and otherwise - and the endless possibilities for how our lives might intersect as we evolve towards and apart from one another. Both the literal and allegorical jungle loom large throughout the play, providing a backdrop for our fears that exist in the unknown, and how we run towards or away from them.
